There are 3 mains season in central of Vietnam as below:

• Rainy season: from Sept to Dec
• Dry season: from Jan to Apr
• Hot season: from May to Aug
• So the best time will be from Jan to Aug but always expect that it could be changed, that means there are some sunny days on Oct but it could be rainy a bit on Feb days (that is the weather and we just can forecast).

Vietnamese curency names Dong (Đồng), the exchange rate is: US$1 = VND 23,150 approx

Exchange money: you can exchange money to Vietnam Dong at airport, hotel reception but the rate is not so interesting. The best place do to it is gold shop which is often located in city center or near local market, then bank or exchange money store.

ATMs: Widely available all over Vietnam. All major banks’ ATMs accept international cards and provide instructions in several languages, including English. Most major suppliers (hotels, restaurants…) also accept payments using Visa and MasterCard.

Vienam is ranked as one of the cheapest destinations in the world. Recently, the tourist industry was fast developped ,that means you more choice of service category.

It depends on your budget, you can calculate how to spend your money. All are at your decision. 

• Accommodation: From low budget hotel/dorm at $10/pax to luxury reasort at $1,000/R/N
• Food: from street food store at $1/meal to fine restaurant at $200/dish
• Drink: a bottle of beer at local restaurant cost less than $1
• Transfer: you can choose or private or public transportation, rate is in general reasonable.  
• For example: 

          - Transfer from Da Nang to Hoian (30 km) by public bus (30 km) is $1,5 and $25 by private car

          - Transfer from Da Nang to Hue (100 km) by public bus is around $4 and $80 by private car

So whoever you are (a backpacker or luxury traveller), Vietnam can adapt your expectation depending on smart wallet.  

Depending on your availability, the more time you have, the more thing you can experience. In case your time is limited, a 3D/2N trip or 4D/3N trip could be enought:

• 3D/2N trip: you will stay in Hoian/Da Nang then spend our time to see Da Nang & Hoian
• 4D/3N: add one extra day to go to Hue.

By public bus, train, private car or event motorbike, you can get around easily by your owner arrangement or with local agency.
