Full Day Visit Bong Lai Valley & Phong Nha Bicycle Adventure

Our Phong Nha Village Cycling tour will give you an opportunity to get up close with village life as you hit the road with two wheels and pedal power. The tour will start with a gentle cycle along the banks of the Son River down to Bong Lai Valley, a popular spot for tourists who want to dive right into a really rural setting, unlike anything experienced in Vietnam. You’ll have a chance to pass by cute little farms spread out over rolling hills, see children running through the fields, and water buffaloes hogging the roads that join together this valley.

A number of attractions have been developed over the past couple of years including the Wild Boar Eco Farm and the Pub with Cold Beer, which have been rated as the top destinations to visit in rural Vietnam. We’ll stop at one of these great little restaurants for a bite to eat and chat with the owners, who always provide a good story!

For the second part of your day, and after a delicious BBQ meal and drinks, you’ll follow the Ho Chi Minh Highway back down to Phong Nha, and directly through to the far-end of town, where you’ll catch a canoe-like taxi across the river to Tram Village and Me Village, which will provide an interesting perspective on life for local people.

This fascinating guided cycling tour will end in Chay Lap Village, where you’ll have a chance to have a cool dip in the river and a cold beverage at Chay Lap Riverside before taking a vehicle back to your accommodation in Phong Nha.
